This event (the HHS ruling) has the potential to snowball into a major issue for the fall. I think that will happen, though, only if someone other than Romney is the GOP nominee. Ron Paul or Rick Santorum will see the bigger picture and press Obama on it, I hope. Neither is an ideal candidate. Ron Paul is an ideologue and Rick Santorum needs more experience (but Obama did too so that’s not critical).
If Obama gets away with this, nothing will be too sacred for him to mess with, once he’s re-elected and doesn’t have to answer to voters anymore.
That’s my 2 cents’ worth, anyway.
